PrivatePractice.MD is being developed as a common venue for physicians and other health care providers to share their insights and tips about how to best manage their private practice and their non-clinical professional lives. A well-established practice will have a solid financial and legal foundation, and will have protocols, procedures and contingency plans in place before they are ever needed in an emergency. The patients then receive the best care and the doctor avoids costly or tragic mistakes.

How to set up a well-organized private practice like that just described takes much planning and experienced advice. PrivatePractice.MD needs input from doctors who have experience starting and running medical practices. Physician advisors such as attorneys, accountants, practice managers, medical billing experts, insurance agents, commercial realtors, Healthcare IT experts and other experts are invited to display their expertise here. You may not become rich but you may become famous, or at least develop an excellent client base from the doctors and other providers reading your articles!
