Determining Your New Private Practice Legal Structure

One of the first decisions you have to make, after you decide that you want to start your own private practice, is what legal structure your practice will take. Will it be a Limited Liability Company (LLC) or a Professional Corporation? C corporation or a true partnership? And the possibilities go on. Many details and factors will influence what final form is chosen, and these variables and decisions need to be discussed with your lawyer, of course. I am not a lawyer and not qualified to say much about the legal aspects of forming a new medical practice entity.
